Be CONSISTENT with corrective discipline, such as time outs or something taken away.
Be CLEAR - make sure what you expect is what you ask for.
Be CALM- definite commands and instructions, "This is what happens when you ______." Anger intensifies the moemnt.
Be COURAGEOUS. Stand your ground. Backing down to a 4 year old only leads to future disappointments.
Be CLOSE. Spend private one on one time with each child, listening, learning and laughing. Tell them frequently you love them.
